Live, Love and Laugh! Newsletter February 2023

Live, Love and Laugh! February is the month to do so! This month I would like to SPOT LIGHT our Manatee Moon which is our Texas Sweet Red Blend. With Valentines day coming up what better way to celebrate with a SWEET red wine. This gorgeous red wine will fill your palette with a rich sweet red wine flavor. Smoky BBQ brings out the dark cherry sweetness. It would be deliciously paired with a piece of dark chocolate cake, or even your favorite cut of beef.

Why did we name this particular wine “Manatee Moon”? Well as a matter of fact Cheri just shared with me the story of how the sailors at night would think they were seeing mermaid tails, but were actually just seeing manatee tails. Every bottle we carry has a story behind the name! I am still learning them all myself, but next time you stop by feel free to ask what the story is for your favorite wine.

I truly feel like January has flown by! I am sure I am not the only one. I hope everyone is having a great start to the NEW YEAR.

This year has already shown us that all the uphill mountain climbing we have been doing it is paying off. We are so very excited for all that we accomplished and for what is yet to come. We appreciate every single one of our supporters! We would not be in the position we are in if it wasn’t for our lovely community.

First off!!!!! SLUSHIES are APPROVED! Some day’s this project felt like it was such an uphill battle. This just feels surreal to us all and is keeping us busy, busy, busy. We will be releasing THIS month our VERY BERRY, TROPICAL SQUEEZE and CHERRY EXPLOSION slushies to your local convenient store and/or restaurant. Our famously known dangerously delicious slushies are made with with REAL fruit, handmade and hand packed with LOVE. If there is a local store or restaurant that you would like to see carry our slushies for your convivence let us know and we will do our best to make sure they are available as soon as possible.

MORE EXCITING NEWS! This month we filmed our commercial. It is if things are just falling right into place for Rusty Hook Winery. We had such a blast and can not wait for the commercial to air. Keep an eye out! We had a once in a lifetime director Joshua Shultz to direct and film our first ever commercial! He is currently in Victoria, TX filming one of his upcoming movies and took the time out to come film for us!
